Drop-Off Service (Fixed Labour Rates):
For free-standing/countertop models, we offer a convenient drop-off service at our location. We charge a fixed rate for diagnostics and repair labour. Required parts are extra and quoted after diagnostics. Work is performed in our on-site microwave repair lab using established repair procedures.
Note: due to manufacturer part availability and the nature of microwave systems, repairs are for microwaves are not guaranteed. In every case; if a unit is deemed beyond economical repair, we’ll explain options before proceeding.
Common Issues
Magnetron, diode, or high-voltage capacitor faults are typical causes. Proper testing isolates the failed part safely.
A worn turntable motor or coupler leads to uneven heating. Replacing the motor/coupler restores rotation.
Broken latches or interlock switches are safety-critical. We test/replace switches and verify proper door alignment.
May indicate HV component strain or a failing cooling fan. We diagnose to prevent further damage.

Tips for Maintenance & Longer Life (Countertop Microwaves)
Wipe spills and splatters promptly to prevent arcing and odors.
If it’s burnt or greasy, replace it—don’t run the unit with a damaged cover.
Leave space around the sides and rear so cooling fans can do their job.
